I owe it to thousands of episodes for challenging me, embracing me and daring me to lead a life of curiosity, intention and big enjoyment.

My agency was founded to return this favour, to give a platform to heart-led individuals and their stories. My mission is to make podcasts - and life - awe inspiring.

We can't guarantee happiness nor avoid suffering, but we can commit to curiosity.

August was a deep dive into astrology, peppered with celebrity chit chats + some friendship content 🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌝 veryyyy mindful 😌

....but since I HAVE TO! Might as well make it count 🙂🧘🏾‍♀️my most recent client is @center4bodytrust and I'm in awe of their work. I make it a habit to only work with people's whose mission it is to leave their community better than they found it, and that's what Centre For Body Trust does. Unpacking and dismantling fat stigma and diet culture one episode at a time. Fat stigma is not just about bodies, it's about gender, race, class, capitalism, patriarchy and more. They leave no stone unturned. It means a lot to me to produce meaningful work, and I believe in what they're doing 100%.

July was JUICY 🍓🍇🍉🍒 so much transformation and learning. I'm getting into Tik Tok and YouTube learning more, so my podcast listenership was low, but it was quality over quantity: human design (life changing! iykyk), psychology, feminism, business energetics☀️ YUM. Been thinking about what kind of clients I want to attract and what a meaningful dynamic beyond financial exchange could look like. A lot of these poddies have been helping 🧠

Happy 2024 💥💥💥💥💥💥 this is the first year my resolutions have had nothing to do with g wagons 😂 (those matter too!) My guiding word for 2024 Safe/Trust. Do I feel safe with myself, do I trust myself, do I listen to myself, can I trust myself to run my business with integrity and intention, are my values clear in the way I engage my clients, is my mission of making the world brighter achieved through who I help platform? I'm super excited for this year, mostly because - actually ENTIRELY because - I trust myself. Thank you to all my existing clients who've trusted me with their voices, and thanks in advance to all my future clients for letting me facilitate their podcasting journey

🎃 Tis the season 👻 here's a selection of gripping true crimey podcasts that examine the depravity of the human condition. All are coaster rides but the impact on me was a net positive; hearing about people standing up for themselves and others despite the very material consequences, is galvanizing. These podcasts are a testament to the resilience and survival instincts of survivers, do-gooders, and perpetrators alike...😨🧟‍♀️

April Podcast Dump. I want the soft life NOW. More ease, more grounding, more lazing, more stillness. May's reflection: do I have a preoccupation with things being difficult? What if everything were easier, what if abundance, safety and pleasure isn't at the other end of hard work, what if it's just available...

I want my life cracked like this cats back

In the same way growing a muscle is effort + rest and repair, spiritually and emotionally I can only move forward if I do the work but then PUT IT DOWN and make way for pause and play, rest and enjoyment. I'm trying to move my healing from my head space to my heart space, from my mind to my hands. Less thinking and more DOING. Less analyzing and more feeling. My synapses are tired! 😂 April is for being in my body. These are some of my March listens that really moved me. More on each of them in my highlights.

I've been working through @sensual.self for about 2 years now. It's impossible to binge because it inspires slowness, and is so intentionally produced that I'm only called to it when I'm in the market for soft expansion. Emphasis on ~soft~. It's counter-culture in the most tender of ways in that it asks you to be gentle with self, be present with self, and be at home in self. This episode with @euphemia.russell was like a sonic hug. It slowed me down in all the right ways ✨

This year we're asking for hugs, telling people they hurt us, admitting we don't know, naming our mental health challenges, watching bees dance in flowers, letting more tears flow - tears of joy, relief, sadness, grief and amazement. Are you ever mid sadness and immediately become so aware and fascinated by the depth of your feelings? More of that in 2023. I wish softness for us all✨🌛

I enjoyed this. I like gentle examinations on how we can marry our natural desire for empirical knowing with the unknowable, spiritual nature of existence. I also love the genre of The Scientist who sees the value in The Esoteric. They have a considered approach that affirms all various methods of understanding existence as valuable and worth exploring. Any one lens without the context - or at least the consideration of the others - is incomplete

In the age of hot takes and the Opinion Marketplace (which I LOVE! everything has its place) it's so nice to listen to experts that love what they do and make their work accessible. @ologies is a staple. Easy to listen to, fascinating, well produced every single time. Also the award goes this poddie for the nicest cover art + branding of all time 🤩

I've been thinking about this a lot, which POV do I experience myself with. I often feel like I'm watching myself from the outside, vs. being in my body watching the world. I know this has to do with some level of hypervigilance because of gender and race. But also conflating public impact, public impression, and personal responsibility. I don't want to make how I'm perceived my responsibility anymore. How can you be present if you're aware of how you're perceived? How can you be authentic if you're making perception your responsibility? Animals are so unselfconscious. I'm trying to be like a capybara 🦦

Current obsession: fiction podcasts. Women making bad decisions, unlikeable characters, ominous tech, messy but determined girlies.

Mother Hacker: mums dipping into criminality to make ends meet? Espionage? Scamming? A preference for lawlessness over housewifery? I want it all. Very fun, very juicy

Sandra: disgruntled employee, rogue tech, bad decisions, a messy redemption arc. Inject it into my veins! I loved this series. @gimletmedia never misses 😭

Fascinated in understanding the gap between what we want vs. what we need, and the difficulty of finding either. Esther Perel was FED UP with the girlies on this one 🥵😂 she's tired of our icks and entitlement in dating. I love deconstructing the ways apps have obscured our preferences, created entitlement and a false sense of endless choice. It will never not be interesting to me. And shoutout out to @hannahmayreilly for facilitating+taking that loving drag so gracefully for the collective 😆❤️🙏🏾

WHAT I'M BINGEING: @thelovelyalea Spiritual Shit podcast. Firstly, a black woman in spirituality - immediately yes. Honest, self aware takes? I love it. The people who need manifestation - who need to envision a reality they have no access to - are marginalised people. But the irony is how do you conceive of a spiritual practice when spirituality is whitewashed and put behind a pay wall of endless courses and retreats promising that your suffering will end simply and swiftly with "this one mantra / visualisation / journaling technique". In a space that's lost sight of its own intention and become about gimmicks and clickbait, this podcast feels really honest and sincere. Spirituality feels like fun again with her💐

I CLAIM!!! I'm so appreciative of ageing, being able to see where I thought cutting people and things off were "boundaries" when it was really just avoiding being vulnerable, avoiding letting people know they affect me, avoiding realising that I NEED (not want) emotional intimacy with individuals and community. I love what ageing is doing to my heart and mind!!!

I adore this 🙏🏾🌻 there is so much texture and fragrance to our lives but people are misled to think they need to hustle to the top, be the best, make it onto some List Of Achievers and then only at the peak of that mountain, do they earn the right and the time to experience this. Gag is its all around us, and ironically the more you dedicate your life to being Remarkable™ the less time you have to...experience the texture and fragrance of life ✨

@goodmoms_badchoices platonic partnership needs to be studied, modeled and copied. It feels more important than ever to tease apart our needs and delegate fulfillment to people beyond romantic partners. How full would our lives be if we co-created intentional, intimate, emotionally rich relationships with more people, and became existentially supported by the 'village' and not just one person? What would it look like to not place sexual relationships as the pinnacle of human connection? All very hot ideas 👥

I don't know @shanboody does it 😍 she curates the most interesting guests and has incredibly open, vulnerable and non judgemental conversations about sex, love and intimacy. This is one of my favourites. @hardorsoftpod came on and it was MIND BLOWING hearing men - particularly black men - talk about sex from the angle of centring their own pleasure (not performance). I'm yet to discover sex positive male podcasts where the focus is on pleasure, kinks, vulnerability and experimentation more than bravado, self editing to appease friends, and discussing sex to affirm masculinity and to shun feminity and queerness. @hardorsoftpod might just be it!

I'm especially keen on these for children, particularly girls. Imagine raising a generation of them whose looks aren't the centre of their self worth, success or value system, who grow up knowing that 'fat' isn't the worst thing they can be called. Girls who prioritize growing their compassion, curiosity, intuition and confidence because us adults modelled that for them. THAT is powerful 🔥

Wondery NEVER misses. This is an impeccably produced series about a lot of things. Primarily, it's about Miriam Rivera, a visceral snapshot of what it's like existing as a trans woman and how far we have/nt come in our treatment of trans people on and off screen. I do wonder whether this is about transness or rigid, fragile, dangerous male heterosexuality...Either way, I hesitate to say too much for fear of spoilers. It's hopeful, it's fun, it's sad. Go listen RIGHT NOW and thank me later

I was resigned to relating to work like a slave to its master, and it's taken about a decade to find which flavour of labour I like the most.
